Your MHT-CET Percentile is calculated based on the relative performance of all students in the same session:
Merit Rank is then assigned based on percentile scores within each category. For equal percentile scores, tie-breaking rules apply:
(1) Higher marks in HSC (12th) Mathematics → (2) Higher marks in HSC Physics → (3) Older candidate gets preference.
Important: Your percentile is session-normalized — the CET Cell adjusts for difficulty differences across exam shifts using percentile equalization. This means raw marks don't directly determine your rank; your percentile does.
For JEE Main admits: Merit rank is calculated separately using JEE Main percentile. The exam type filter in this tool lets you compare MHT-CET vs JEE Main admitted students.
